Our story began when we met in 2013. Our university volleyball team, The Breakfast Club, was made up of a mismatch of people from throughout Saskatchewan who quickly became very close friends. Hayden and I found that we were drawn to each other in particular as we often stayed up far too late talking endlessly. Despite this obvious connection, we were nothing more than friends...

Until around the winter of 2015. We began to spend extra time together as we both realized that maybe we wanted more. However, it took until March 11, 2016 for either of us to work up enough courage to actually admit what we wanted (although apparently it was obvious to all our friends around us). We then easily shifted into being a couple and enjoying our lives together.

 

We have been able to share countless adventures side by side, including:

• In 2016, Hayden completed his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• In 2017, Kylie completed her BComm. in Accounting 

• In 2018, we enjoyed our first trip together to Toronto, ON

• In 2018, we moved into our first place together

• In 2018, Hayden completed his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• In 2019, we enjoyed a long road trip camping throughout AB and BC

• In 2020, we got engaged (see the story below!)

• In 2020, Kylie successfully passed the CFE and in 2021 achieved her CPA designation

• In 2021, we bought our first home together

• In 2021, we got married!
